Resistance Training Builds Muscle While Burning Fat 🏋️A recent study using DXA scans found resistance training was the only method that built muscle while burning fat.

Men gained lean mass and lost nearly 9 kg of fat. Women gained muscle and lost over 6 kg of fat.
Dieting without lifting led to muscle loss. The scale may drop, but metabolism suffers. If you are over 40, resistance training is not optional. It is metabolic protection.

Exercise Treats Depression 💪
A major Cochrane review of 73 trials shows exercise works as well as antidepressants and psychotherapy for depression.

Light to moderate movement outperformed intense workouts. Mixing resistance and aerobic training worked best.

The sweet spot was 13 to 36 sessions, about three months of consistency. This is not adjunct therapy. It is real treatment.

A Stanford trial found that fasting five days per month on a low calorie plant based plan led to 65 percent remission in Crohn’s disease versus 38 percent in controls.

Inflammation markers dropped and deeper immune pathways shifted. This was not symptom masking. It was metabolic reprogramming.
For patients cycling through steroids and biologics, this kind of dietary reset deserves attention.
