Welcome to the world, Jet Man Jacob Hill! 🙌🏽

Jet, as in the gemstone. Known for grounding properties, for reflecting negative energies and for aiding in spiritual journeys.

Man, a family name, Jessie’s mom’s dad’s first name. A Chinese name for scholarly, wise, full & complete.

Jacob, another family name: Jacobs being Jon’s mom’s mom’s maiden name.

On July 25th, Jessie arrived at the hospital already 10 cm dilated. She gave birth naturally to this perfect babe just 28 minutes after checking in, supported by her husband and the most wonderful hospital staff. One of the nurses was one of her yoga students!

The team was wonderful and told the family they were rock stars. They were impressed Jessie’s blood pressure was 114/72 immediately after giving birth.

Jessie credits acupuncture, yoga, breath work and mindfulness to the relatively easy & beautiful experience of getting pregnant, carrying her baby and birthing beautiful Jet Man Jacob Hill.

A big, big thank you for all the support from patients, students, friends, acquaintances and family!

Jessie has spent the last week nurturing her baby through nursing, snuggles and love.

She has spent the time nurturing herself through nourishing foods, rest (as much as possible), daily walks, acupuncture, love and moxa.

A big shout out to & who have been taking such great care of the patients of Hilltop Healing during this time. They are also taking wonderful care of the plants, the office and of Jessie!

It’s my last week in the office before heading out for my maternity break! 🙌🏽

I’ve got a handful of openings Thursday & Friday and then I’m taking off to birth my baby and to nourish myself postpartum 🧘🏽‍♀️
