We’d love for you to meet a special member of our team here at OB, Charlie!

Charlie is a BCBA, working directly with our kids to help them make meaningful progress that applies in their community. For some, it's working on facilitating and maintaining friendships. For others, it's going to a restaurant for a meal.

He's always telling parents: Progress isn't linear; don't compare yourself to others.

One of his favorite things about working with OB is the amazing team he gets to work alongside. There's always someone to help, or bounce an idea off, or talk about behaviors analytic things with. With so many different roles and backgrounds, everyone has a unique and fresh perspective.

But, Charlie won't go a day without ordering a coffee (or Matcha, or cookie, or sandwich) from . Also, letting people know that he's from Massachusetts...

I've been thinking a lot lately about how much has shifted in the world of autism and neurodivergence.

The biggest thing I've noticed?

Families are asking for something different—something more aligned with who their children really are.

Kids aren’t fitting into “one-size-fits-all” labels anymore.

ADHD, anxiety, learning differences, and executive functioning challenges are all layered on top of autism.

So the way we approach supporting these children in their learning development matters in a deeper, more personalized way.
