Today in yoga class at Lily Pads Early Learning Center the children practiced yoga poses while reading the story "Meddy Teddy A Mindful Yoga Journey"

Some of the poses we practiced included: Mountain Pose, Tree Pose, Surfer Pose, Butterfly Pose, Happy Baby, Child's Pose and Snake Pose. We had fun doing all of our favorite poses and celebrating the beginning of spring with Meddy Teddy!

On Thursday in yoga class at Oakland Terrace Elementary we read the story ‘Marigold and the Faraway Tree’ by Alison Fast and we looked at each page to see if we could notice a heart. We also practiced yoga poses for some of the pictures we saw on the page.
We grew from a small seed into a big tree, we were porcupines, and hearts, flowers and the sun.
