on their ABC Metro Washington and ABC Virginia project; The Village at Rockville – A National Lutheran Community Residential Living Program, Phase VIII. Henley Construction has completed the final of 8 phases in the Residential Living Program portion of The Village at Rockville – A National Lutheran Community. Phase VIII’s structures are composed of over 19,000 square feet of wood framed residences and all include functioning kitchens as well as all other residential amenities. Henley was involved in all aspects of this project being brought on board with the selection of the architect, providing cost estimates during design and assisting with the application of building permits. During the construction phase of the project, Henley was responsible for establishing limits of disturbance and tree protection with the City of Rockville in order to clear three acres of wooded land. To expedite construction, the wood framing of wall panels and roof trusses were pre-fabricated off site. Finally, individual residents of the units were able to pair with Henley in choosing ascetics such as wood finishes, counter tops, and cabinetry. The Independent Living Program’s triplex villas are conveniently encompassing one of Rockville’s most highly regarded senior living homes. In total, Henley produced 144 units designed to provide comfortable and private dwellings for those who are transitioning into the assisted living community with priority access to high quality healthcare.
