Last week, PNCB Board members came together for an in-person meeting to advance strategic priorities and continue shaping the future of pediatric nursing certification. During their visit, they also had the meaningful opportunity to tour Kapi’olani Medical Center for Women and Children and time to connect with the incredible pediatric nurses serving their community. These conversations are essential as we consider how best to support certificants across U.S. territories and internationally.

Board members addressed national trends shaping pediatric care and stakeholder insights to ensure PNCB’s strategy remains forward-looking and mission aligned. The Board also explored long-term opportunities for thoughtful international engagement.

We’re also excited to share that Sandra Jones, DNP, APRN, CPNP-PC, was appointed as PNCB’s new Chair-Elect. Congratulations, Dr. Jones, we look forward to your leadership!
