Thank you to the ninth grade students from Charles E. Smith Jewish Day School who spent time volunteering on campus last week! They removed the Sukkah decorations at Hebrew Home of Greater Washington and organized them neatly for next year - tasks that may have taken associates hours, but were done quickly and easily with their help.

When they finished, the students visited Revitz House, where they enjoyed lunch and meaningful conversations with residents that brightened everyone's day.

We are so grateful to our CESJDS volunteers for the visit and the support!

Ring House residents celebrated Active Aging Week last week with a full roster of events hosted by Wellness Coordinator Dan Celdran. The week kicked off last Monday with a sun-filled morning of games and music on the perfect early fall day!

Residents were also joined by two high school volunteers who helped with activities and connected beautifully with our residents, even joining in to play a few rounds of each game.

Dining services prepared and served refreshing, healthy smoothies, which were a big hit and kept everyone energized throughout the morning.

Here's to staying active, connected and having fun at every age!
