Colorectal cancer often has no symptoms in early stages—but screening can catch it early or prevent it entirely. Mansfield Kaseman Health Clinic offers free Cologuard® kits to patients. This is an at-home colorectal cancer screening test for adults age 45 and older who are at average risk.

MKHC patient Ms. A needed surgery to remove a tumor on her thyroid, but couldn't afford the procedure out of pocket. Thanks to coordinated support from her care team, led by MKHC Medical Director Dr. Lazarus, she is now cancer free.

MKHC is looking for a patient care support volunteer! This role involves assisting the clinical and admin team while guiding patients through the care process. The volunteer must commit to 4 hours per week or 16 hours per month, and can volunteer at any time during open hours (M-F, 9-5). Spanish fluency is required.

It was great meeting with Nik Sushka and Elssa Kenfack from the City of Rockville Government for MKHC's annual site visit as a city grant recipient. We discussed strategies for spreading awareness of healthcare services, challenges, and wins from this year.
