I have just returned from Kentucky where we trained a new group of diverse practitioners in the art and science of dry needling technique.
It was a great training and a good time for all. Dry Needling Institute not only provides excellent training but training in a form of dry needling developed by Dr. Fishkin that is more comfortable for the patients who are much more likely to follow through with their treatment plan and goals. We also get qualified professionals trained up and certified in all body regions in one long weekend not multiple ones. Why? Because Dr. Fishkin knows how to get the job done.

Just completed a great training weekend in Raleigh North Carolina. Not only did we prepare the doctors to go out and help their communities but their bodies benefited as well from the work they did. It is not always the case that the doctor can say to their patients that they too have had this treatment and understand what the patient is experiencing. This is the most comfortable and effective type of dry needling treatment that is taught by Dr. Fishkin. If you are a patient ask for Fishkin Dry Needling Therapy and if you are a health care provider come and learn, eat great food with like minded practitioners who want to improve their skills and offerings.Go to dryneedlinginstitute.com to see what dates and places we will be at.

Today, Sept 16, 2019 I attended a conference organized by the NIH National Center for Complementary and Integrative Health. The Conference was entitled "Neurocircuitry of Forced-Based Manipulations." It was a mix of cellular/biochemical and gross anatomy mechanical studies. It was clear there are many confused people in this area who have no idea what manipulation is about, what to define and how and what to measure. There is a big disconnect here between what is happening in the field and the basic science people. Lots of work to be done.
I was I think the only field doctor there, you know that was an interesting interface.

. Fishkin,

I have been treating several patients a week since our class with excellent results. The case I brought to class was able to race his boat in Florida over the weekend with no pain in his shoulder. I had a patient this morning that has a Chiari Malformation type I, that I treat for low back pain, come in with a headache that was making her sick to her stomach that we needled and she just called me saying that without medication her headache is almost gone. We are believers in this office!
