๐The labrum is a ring of cartilage that goes around the femoral acetabulum (socket of the hip). It deepens the socket to improve the stability of the hip.
๐ค The hip labrum can become torn through an injury such as a fall or collision with another person.
๐คAdditionally, some peoples anatomy makes them more susceptible to labrum tears. Depending on the location of the tear, it potentially can present as groin pain.
๐ชHere are some exercises we did in the to attempt to manage a labrum injury non operative. Youโll notice we are doing a variety of exercises all targeting the hip.
