Spring season = butterfly season! 🐛👉🦋 Studying the butterfly life cycle is a classic childhood experience that sparks curiosity, wonder, and a deeper understanding of the natural world.

🧑‍🔬It introduces foundational science concepts like observation and biology while also integrating other areas of STEM like math and engineering. 🤩 And perhaps most importantly, it nurtures a sense of wonder, reminding children that learning is fun and tangible.

When it comes to early childhood, behavior is rarely the full story.
Because the truth is: ❗behavior is communication.❗

What looks like “bad behavior” is usually a child trying to tell us something:
“I’m tired.”
“I’m overstimulated.”
“I don’t feel understood.”
“I need help regulating my emotions.”

Children don’t act out just to make things hard. They act out because something inside feels hard.

As parents, instead of judging their behavior, we must get curious about WHY it's happening.

Because when we understand the why…
we can actually meet the need.

And that’s where healthy growth begins. 💙💚
