ARVO Foundation for Eye Research

How does the ARVO Foundation help?

1. We give awards to researchers build on their successes and bring their work out of the lab to patients.

The ARVO Foundation raises funds through partnerships, grants and sponsorships to support ARVO’s world-class education and career development resources for eye and vision researchers. We bring young researchers to scientific meetings where the best minds in eye and vision research gather, to share their findings and figure out next steps for moving forward.

2. We give grants to help researchers continue their promising work and to get it published.

4. We provide fellowships to bring researchers from developing countries to the U.S. to work directly with experienced scientists. In turn, these young researchers bring this new knowledge back home with them, allowing them to continue this vital work where it is most needed.
