At the Autism Society of America, we recognize every individual’s journey. Whether a 'trail' or a 'highway,' every Autistic person has a path that is uniquely theirs and inherently valuable.

We are deeply grateful for Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s affirmations that every individual is born with significant value. Dr. King taught us that we are all tied in a “single garment of destiny”, reminding us that our community is only complete when everyone is included and empowered to be their authentic selves. Today, we honor his legacy by continuing our commitment to a world where acceptance is the norm and every voice is heard.
