ABMGG sends its congratulations to Dr. Bo Yuan for receiving the ACMG - American College of Medical Genetics and Genomics Foundation's 2026 Michael S. Watson Genetic and Genomic Innovation Award. Dr. Yuan is dual-certified in Clinical Molecular Genetics and Genomics & Clinical Cytogenetics and Genomics.

His work has led to the discovery of multiple genetic disorders including Yuan-Harel-Lupski syndrome and Alazami-Yuan syndrome.
