The mission of the ABMGG is to serve the public and medical profession by establishing professional certification standards and promoting lifelong learning as well as excellence in medical genetics and genomics.

ABMGG had a great time at in Boston! We enjoyed connecting with students/trainees from all over the world who were curious about the path to board certification, as well as seeing current diplomates check in on the status of their continuing certification.

We are eager to further network with you all at future meetings as you continue your genetics journey!

The ABMGG Board of Directors met for a productive two days, covering a variety of topics such as logbook requirements, updates on our assessments (ITE, initial certification & CertLink), and how AI can play a role in Continuing Certification.
