Diligence. What a word. Powerful. Defined as care or conscientiousness in one’s work or duties.
How are you diligent in your life?
As a nurse (or medical professional) we care for patients/clients. That’s the “do.” We are “disciplined” in that care that we give day in and day out. But are we “diligent?” Do we take pride in it? Do we pay attention to detail? Do we go the extra mile? And more so, do we leave feeling accomplished in our efforts?
Perhaps it’s the level of diligence that separates the good from the great.
