A Bit of the Backstory:
Years ago, a dear friend and pet client of Rick and Monica’s, Steve, began cooking homemade food for his dogs. The transformation he saw in their health and happiness was so inspiring that he shared the results with Rick and Monica, encouraging them to feed it to their own pups.

Rick and Monica started feeding his recipe in the fall of 2023 and quickly noticed remarkable improvements, especially in their senior dogs. When Kim and Dale gave it a try with their younger pups, the benefits were just as powerful; they experienced no more digestive issues and no more sick days. Just vibrant, happy, healthy dogs.

Word spread. More pets started thriving. Friends and clients shared stories of relief from allergies, digestive troubles, arthritis, and even improved mobility. One after another, pet parents were telling us their dogs were living longer, healthier lives—and truly enjoying every stage of it.

Recently, Steve let us know that, for personal reasons, he could no longer keep up with making the food himself. But with his blessing, his cherished recipe, and his heartfelt hope to help as many pets as possible, he passed the torch to us.

We are honored to carry that mission forward.

What You Need to Know:
Holy Chow! Pet Food is currently available just for dogs, but we are working on a cat-friendly recipe too. Once it’s perfected and tested, our feline friends will be included in the love.
Our website is currently under construction and will be launching in approximately 8 weeks.
We do have stock available now for our Roxie’s clients and would love for your pup to try it!

Double-Check That Collar! 🎆
This can be a tough week for pets who are scared of fireworks and loud noises. Take a moment to ensure your pet’s collar has up-to-date ID info—just in case they get spooked and bolt. Microchips and GPS tags are also great tools to help bring them home safely if they get lost.

There are lots of little tricks out there to help calm anxious pets, but honestly? A little extra love, attention, and comfort from you can go a long way. ❤️🐾

Dearest friends. A sweet lady that attends church with my parents reached out for help finding a home for this cute kitten with an opossum nose. 🩷 ~ Monica

"I found a kitten in the wheel well of my car and would like to find her a home. She’s almost 10 weeks (estimate by vet) and in good health. She has one more round of shots to go. I am gone most days for about 10-13 hours so would like to find her a home where she would have more interaction - she is very playful. Please let me know if you know anyone who would like to have her."

Hey All!

This may be a long post and I apologize, however, it could save you in hundreds or thousands of dollars on vet bills.

Things I wish I knew and realized a year ago.

Over the last year, my 2 fur babies age 2 and 3 kept getting UTI's and crystals in their urine. The vet kept saying it is the diet. I feed my dogs homemade dog food, they do not eat kibble, so putting them on a special type of Urinary kibble was a hard pill to swallow. I did ask the vet "How is kibble better for my dogs than human grade food?" Well, my answer was "It's the proportions of the minerals, not that what you are doing is bad."

I tried this kibble which was expensive mind you. After about 2 weeks Remi was still having accidents in the house so clearly it wasn't helping at all. I took him BACK to the vet to make sure he didn't have stones, paid more money for X-Rays which came back as no stone and they just said to keep him on the kibble and it will correct it. Well, a few days later, we are still having issues. I'm on the phone with Monica Kizziar and she semi-joking said "maybe it's the water." Those words kept nagging almost like an annoying itch that I couldn't scratch. I went down the rabbit hole of our water then remembered that I had PH strips. I tested our water which was acidic, then I tested our Brita which was acidic. The next day I bought 6 or 7 bottles of water and tested all of them. ALL of the water came back as acidic except for 1.

I now for about 3 weeks have been giving my dogs Fiji water. Within the first 2 days I noticed a difference with him and he hasn't had an accident since. I took in his urine for ANOTHER urinalysis and the infection was gone and the crystals were getting smaller. About 2 weeks in, I realized that Remi wasn't red and inflamed like he had been and I thought he was allergic to our grass, but now it seems that he's been reacting to the water all this time. Remi is already high energy and I have noticed that he has even MORE energy since switching the water and so does Riley who is normally a couch potato but has been much more playful since switching.

If your pets are having accidents and acting abnormal about things. Your pet is trying to tell you something. If our water is doing this to our pets, what do you think it will do to us eventually? We have now ordered a gravity water system which a friend of mine has and I tested her water which was neutral so we can all benefit from clean water.

Spring is FINALLY here! The plants are growing the weather is fantastic! Birds are singing, everything is grand! BUT Spring also comes with a price to us all......

This is also the season for allergies for our pets. Please have a way for our sitters for care for your pets while you are out of town with keeping allergy meds on hand, ointments, oils, whatever it is that you use for your fur babies, so when there is a flareup while we are on watch, we are able to make them comfortable and enjoy the spring weather.
