has worked as a Registered Nurse for twenty years at medical centers including UCLA and Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, California. Recognizing the need for a more holistic approach in patient care she obtained a Master of Science in Oriental Medicine (MSOM) in 2000 and is a Licensed Acupuncturist in Texas and California. She is Diplomate in Acupuncture and Chinese Herbology from the

National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. As former clinical coordinator of the Integrative Therapies Program for Cardiothoracic Surgery at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, she helped bring therapies such as Acupuncture, Massage and Guided Imagery to cardiac surgical inpatients where she conducted pilot studies and research on the integration of these therapies, a pioneering program in this major hospital setting. She is able to integrate Eastern and Western medical approaches in her practice as an acupuncturist and promotes the mutual strengths of both medical systems for the benefit of her patients.
