Wanted to make a quick mention to anyone booked for an upcoming office session. *Please let me know in advance if you have to cancel your appointment..
My assistant texts out week's confirmations on Mondays. If someone cancels, Kyra is able to Move Ahead, another client waiting for a sooner date. I've been very lenient over the years with folks who can't keep their appointments.
However, SAME DAY cancelations are not acceptable considering I'm in high demand these days.
I will be implementing a new policy for those "same day" cancel folks. I will be requiring advance (non-refundable) payment if they want to reschedule.
I do understand for many folks that money is tight, but I, too, have bills to pay, and this is my career.
* This ONLY applies to those who confirm on Monday, then cancel on the day of their scheduled session.
Hopefully, this will prevent folks from taking advantage of my kindness.

Aside from the week starting out hectic,
my oldest daughter (Kayla)and her amazing boyfriend(Evan) got engaged 💍 this past weekend.
My family is so excited for these two wonderful souls to join in marriage.
Both are Artists, teachers, and very involved in the Detroit Art community. 🎨 🎊💕🎆

**UPDATE/ all 3 never replied. I was able to fill their spots & they are no longer eligible for booking appts. (That's been my policy for No Shows for several years)
* I'm 6 years away from retirement, and will be creating a more strict booking process in 2027.
(2026 is almost full capacity)
Especially during a "busy" season.
This is an example of disrespect for all of the clients WAITING to get in to an appointment. About ready to block 🚫 all 3 of these cell numbers. 2 appointments for TODAY (with a client waiting for either option)
