We had such a wonderful time welcoming back the Hot Cat Jazz Duo to Ferry Park! Their smooth sounds filled the room and had everyone tapping their toes and singing along. Here’s a clip of their performance of Herb Alpert’s classic, “A Taste of Honey.” Our residents always love when they visit – there’s nothing like live jazz to brighten the day!

We brought our community here at Ferry Park together in unity with one of our many open campus engagements – floral arranging! With beautiful flowers, good conversation, and a touch of artistic flair, everyone had the chance to create something special to brighten their apartments. This week Ferry Park came together as a community of faith to celebrate Yom Kippur, the Day of Atonement – a sacred time for reflection, forgiveness, and fresh beginnings. Gathered around our beautiful waterfall, we began with a prayer reading led by a resident and finished with a traditional stone tossing. It was a wonderful moment to spend together while embracing new beginnings!

It was the perfect day for a river cruise here at Ferry Park! A group of nine residents had the sublime experience of cruising the Connecticut River through Slipaway River Tours – Starting at Wethersfield Park Cove, we saw so many attractions during the hour-long tour!
