Due to winter weather, all Parks & Recreation/Senior programs are canceled for tomorrow, Monday, February 23, 2026.

The growth and sustained success of our wonderful program wouldn’t have been possible without Nick…and all of you!!

Wishing Nick the best in his future endeavors, but he will be sorely missed in Rocky Hill!

We are looking forward to working with Nancy in the future; make sure to say hi if you see her around!

The Parks & Recreation Department announces the departure of Nick Pizzoferrato and extends its sincere appreciation for his service and dedication.

Nick joined the department in 2020, where he served in a leadership role overseeing Aquatics and Community Center Programming. Throughout his tenure, he contributed significantly to the operations and success of departmental programs. Nick is leaving the field altogether, and we thank him for his years of service and commitment to the department and community.

We are pleased to announce the hiring of Nancy Glynn, who will be joining Parks & Recreation with a background in aquatics management and programming for all ages. Nancy comes to us from Newington, and her experience and expertise will be a valuable asset to the department.

We wish Nick continued success in his future endeavors and extend a warm welcome to Nancy as she joins our team.

A HUGE thank you to everyone who attended yoga in the park this year!! Whether you knew it or not, every time you rolled out your mat on that grass, you were not only helping yourself to find a little more inner peace and strength, but you were building a sense of community.
Thank you to Rocky Hill Parks and Rec, Doug Yeager, Virginia Hilton, Maura Kenny, Kristin Longenecker, Darlene Listro and Melanie Klinck for your time and healing energies. We hope to see you in our classes next week, but if nothing else, we’ll see you next summer. ☀️🥰
