The news of the sudden and tragic loss of our friend and coworker, Moresa Nicole (Hoggard) Stalls, has left an unfillable void in our hearts and in the halls of our hospital. In times like this, words seem so inadequate to express the shock and sorrow we feel for a life taken far too soon. Our hearts go out to AJ and the entire Stalls and Hoggard families. And also the fur-babies she loved so much. We recognize that nothing can ease their pain, but we hope they can find some comfort in knowing how much Moresa was loved and respected at PAM Health.
For those of us who had the privilege of working with Moresa, we know the passion and care that she brought to our hospital every day. As a respiratory therapist, Moresa was on the front lines of care, a true hero who made a tangible difference in the lives of countless patients and their families. We know the passion and unwavering dedication she brought to her role every single day. Moresa was at the heart of patient care, offering comfort, expertise, and courage to patients and their families during their most vulnerable moments. Her work was essential, and her humanity was a gift.
Beyond her exceptional clinical skills, Moresa will be remembered for her soft-spoken demeanor and calming presence. She was a valued friend and colleague who elevated our team and our hospital with her spirit.
The loss is profound for all of us at PAM Health Specialty Hospital of Rocky Mount. It is a stark reminder of the fragile nature of life and the deep connections we build with those we work alongside. The grief we feel is a testament to the impact Moresa had on our lives.
We will hold Moresa's memory in our hearts and honor her legacy by continuing to provide the compassionate care she's so embodied.
