Fall is here and it’s apple picking season🙏

Red delicious, Macintosh, Granny Smith, Gala, Rome, Pink Lady, Honey Crisp, Fuji, etc.
Does an Apple a day really keep the doctor away ?
Apples are a great source of nutrients, antioxidants, fiber, low glycemic, easy to eat, store well and super versatile.
They are great for weight loss, reducing inflammation, heart and gut health, lowering the risk for cancer, and more.
They contain one of my favorite compounds quercetin (great for allergies and a senolytic…more on that with another post)
Apples certainly do have a long history…remember Adam and Eve😉
