Happy Earth Day 🌎 💚 The electricity and internet used at our Beachwood and Rocky River offices are matched with carbon offsets through ClimeCo—supporting projects that reduce or remove emissions, create jobs, and protect wildlife.

Therapy spaces are designed for healing, and we strive to care for each other and the world around us—today and every day.

Right now--in this perfectly, imperfect moment.

Someday, you’ll look back and realize this version of you - the one you’re rushing past - was something you once wished for.

So enjoy it. Be here for it. Let yourself actually live it.

But remember - Gratitude does not mean settling.

If you don’t love where you are right now, you have power.

Not all at once. Not perfectly. But in small, daily moves that add up.

One better choice. One braver decision. One step today.

Be present for the life you’re living. And keep going toward the life you want.

Both can be true ❤️

Welcome to StoryQuest Social Group—where imagination meets connection.

In this one-of-a-kind group, teens step into the roles of heroes, healers, strategists, and storytellers. Through tabletop fantasy role-playing games, collaborative storytelling, and drama-based activities, participants explore social dynamics in a way that feels engaging—not overwhelming. Whether navigating a dragon’s lair or a tricky conversation, every scenario becomes a chance to practice real-world skills in a low-pressure, supportive space.

Space is limited. Registration is now open.

Once upon a Saturday afternoon —not so very far from here—a group of teens will gather around a table. There will be dice to roll, characters to invent, and worlds to build. But something even more magical happens along the way: friendships form, confidence grows, and real-life skills quietly ta...

Interactive Mental Map – A Community Mental Health Project

Presented by Cleveland Health and Wellness Center and Literary Cleveland

The Interactive Mental Map is a community-based creative project amplifying stories of resilience, healing, and hope. We are seeking original writing, music, and visual art from individuals across our community in response to meaningful mental health prompts such as:

* What has given you hope in your mental health journey?

* What does healing look like to you?

* Who or what has helped you keep going?

* Describe a place where you learned something about yourself, and connect that place to the experience of learning.

* Describe a place where you experienced connection or support.

Selected works will be featured on an interactive digital map, where viewers can explore submissions connected to places and people throughout our community. This project is designed to uplift lived experiences, reduce stigma, and create space for honest, courageous expression.

Your story matters. Your art matters. Your hope matters.

Many of us know what it feels like to want an escape hatch from our own lives. For some, it’s pouring a drink at the end of a stressful day. For others, it’s disappearing into fantasy worlds, binge-reading, diving into hours of gaming, or mentally checking out altogether through dissociation. These strategies can offer temporary relief—an exhale from the pressure. But if escaping becomes the primary way we cope, it’s often a sign that something deeper needs care.

Therapist Spotlight: Carly Schneid, LPCC, ATR is dual-licensed as a counselor and art therapist. She works with children, teens, and adult women navigating challenges such as anxiety, ADHD, chronic illness, grief, and major life transitions.

She shares, "I believe the therapeutic relationship is one of the most meaningful tools for healing and growth. If you don’t feel safe or understood, it’s hard to truly build self-awareness. I offer a compassionate, honest, and creative environment where we work together to identify your goals and support you in reaching them."

Carly is available for sessions at the Rocky River office on weekday mornings and afternoons.
