It’s been a week full of celebration, connection, and joy—and today reminded us that sometimes the simplest moments are the most meaningful. Thank you to our incredible residents, families, and team members who make Bickford feel like home every single day.

On this solemn anniversary of 9/11, we honor the lives lost, the heroes who rose, and the resilience of a nation forever changed.

In senior living, we are privileged to care for many who lived through that day—who remember where they were, who they called, and how they came together in the aftermath. Their stories remind us of the strength found in community, compassion, and courage.

As we reflect, we recommit to serving with empathy and purpose—ensuring every resident feels safe, valued, and supported, just as we all did in the days that followed September 11th.

We’re kicking off National Assisted Living Week at Bickford Assisted Living & Memory Care with a sweet celebration!

Our Mary B’s Memory Care residents indulged in a delicious chocolate taste test, savoring every bite and sharing smiles all around.
Meanwhile, our Assisted Living community took their taste buds on a trip to Turkey, sampling unique candies from across the globe!

Both sides had a blast rating their favorite treats and enjoying the laughter and connection that comes with every bite. This week is all about celebrating the vibrant lives and joyful moments we share together
