Welcome our newest intern Sarah Whitkofski, B.A., CT!

Sarah is an ENFJ and a compassionate clinician-in-training. She is currently pursuing her Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Cleveland State University. She earned her undergraduate degree in Psychology and is completing her practicum and internship with a Counselor Trainee designation from the Ohio Counselor, Social Work, and Marriage and Family Therapy Board. Sarah is supervised by Anjelica Nelson, MAEd., IMFT-S, LPCC-S.

Sarah approaches counseling with a warm, collaborative, and person-centered approach that’s grounded in empathy, authenticity, and empowerment. Sarah is interested in helping adolescents and adults who experience anxiety, depression, self-esteem issues, women’s issues, and LGBTQ+ concerns.

She has experience working with children and families in caregiving and community-based settings. This allowed her to build strong communication skills and develop an appreciation for how much safe and supportive relationships matter in a person’s emotional growth and well-being.

In her free time, Sarah enjoys traveling, baking sourdough, watching the sunrise, reading, and spending time with her pitbull.

Welcome our newest therapist starting in April, Bryan Strawbridge M.Ed., LPCC!

Bryan is an INFP who is passionate about learning the unique story each person holds. As a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor with a Bachelor of Arts from John Carroll University and a Master of Education in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Cleveland State University, he brings both professional expertise and genuine curiosity to his work.

Bryan approaches therapy by seeing everyone as an individual first, tailoring his work to meet each person exactly where they are. With nearly five years of experience at a qualified public health agency, Bryan has had the privilege of working with people across the lifespan and from diverse backgrounds, cultures, religious beliefs, and sexual orientations. He has developed particular expertise working with adolescents and young adults, individuals navigating gambling disorders, and those working through anger management challenges.
Whether you’re facing a specific struggle or simply seeking a space to explore your story, Bryan is here to walk alongside you in your journey toward growth and healing. Bryan works with individual clients ages 13+.

Welcome our newest therapist starting late February, Sabrina DeVito, MSSA, MPH, LISW!

Sabrina is an ENFJ who is passionate about providing client-focused care. Sabrina is a graduate of Case Western Reserve University’s School of Applied Social Sciences program and is licensed as an independent social worker. She has six years post-graduate experience in the field and has worked in hospital, community health, and private practice settings. Sabrina specializes in providing therapy to adults struggling with self-esteem, relationship issues, emotional regulation, and self-advocacy. Sabrina loves to spend time at the local Metroparks, cook, read, and spend time with friends. Welcome our newest intern Brooklyn Suber B.S., CT!

Brooklyn is a compassionate clinician-in-training currently pursuing her Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at John Carroll University. She earned her undergraduate degree in Psychology and is completing her clinical practicum and internship with a counselor trainee designation from the Ohio Counselor, Social Work, and Marriage and Family Therapy Board. Brooklyn is supervised by Anjelica M. Nelson M.Ed LPCC-S IMFT-S.

Originally from Youngstown, Ohio, Brooklyn brings an INFJ-informed, reflective approach to her work. She values creating a therapeutic environment where clients feel seen, heard, and supported. She has experience working with children and adolescents in both behavioral health and educational settings.

Brooklyn’s background includes roles as a Registered Behavior Technician and as a teacher counselor. In these positions, she supported emotional regulation, coping skills, and positive behavior change, while helping students develop healthier ways to express and manage emotions.

Brooklyn is interested in supporting children and adolescents with anxiety, behavioral challenges, and social-emotional skill development. She is especially passionate about helping clients build self-esteem, resilience, and healthy coping strategies. Her therapeutic style is warm, collaborative, and strengths-based, with an emphasis on emotional safety and meaningful connection.

Brooklyn works with children, adolescents, and young adults. Outside of her clinical work, she enjoys spending time with loved ones, traveling, and staying grounded through music.

Welcome our newest therapist Sarah Evans, MSW, LSW!

Sarah is an ENFP who is dedicated to working with individuals aged 12+ who are seeking support in healing from past experiences, managing their self-esteem and/or eating disordered behaviors, and developing a deeper and more meaningful relationship with themselves. Sarah is a graduate of The Ohio State University’s Master of Social Work program and is a licensed Social Worker. Sarah is also currently in pursuit of her Certified Eating Disorder Specialist designation. Sarah is currently under The supervision of Anjelica Nelson, MAEd., LPCC-S, IMFT-S.

Sarah strives to provide empowering care through utilizing a holistic approach to mental health care. She utilizes interventions from numerous modalities including Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Internal Family Systems, and Exposure and Response Prevention within her sessions. Sarah works to create a nurturing and welcoming environment where clients bring all parts of themselves. She holds space for the unique needs of each individual client and provides a personalized therapeutic experience for all. In her free time, Sarah enjoys spending time with her pets, volunteering, and swimming in the lake.
