It started with a dream and a single plant. 🌱
Long before there was a business, we felt connected to the plant nation—growing, replanting, and caring for medicines in the wild.
We began harvesting for our family, then friends, making simple remedies the way we were taught.
Somewhere along the way, that small beginning grew into something bigger—something we’re grateful to share with others.
A lot of what we do comes down to faith—trusting the timing, and the path into the unknown.
It’s a good simple reminder to listen.
To trust your dreams and where they’re taking you.
You’re in the right place, even if you can’t see the whole picture yet. 🖤♥️💛🤍

We’re preparing for the colder months and found one last bloom in the garden that waited until the season was nearly over to show itself. A quiet reminder that our timing doesn’t have to look like anyone else’s! ✨🌱🌼❤️

We are an Oglala Lakota family from the Badlands of South Dakota. Growing up surrounded by our culture, we’re grateful for the opportunity to learn from our elders and medicine people.
We spent a few years struggling with our own health and began using traditional Lakota medicines as a way to heal ourselves and our family. We found wellness by returning to our people’s original remedies.
Because of our own positive experiences, we began bottling indigenous plant medicines into tinctures and sprays. It’s also allowed us to use them year round, and also share them with our family and community – and now we’re sharing them with others who seek wellness through natural pathways.
Beyond the physical existence of our plant medicines, we believe in the spiritual connection we have to them that allows for powerful healing.
Whenever we harvest medicine, we ask permission from Mother Earth, and make an offering to her. It is this balance that is a part of recognizing Mitakuye Oyasin, the Lakota way of saying that “we are all related.”
We also believe that as Mother Earth gives to us, we should give back to her. For every item sold, a portion goes to reintroducing native medicines to places where they’ve disappeared or have been over-harvested. It is one of our goals to preserve and protect native medicines so that they will flourish for future generations.
We’re grateful for this way of life and to continue healing along the way.
Thanks for reading and for being a part of the journey. We wish all of you wicozani—spiritual wealth and good health for you and your families.
