Midwest Urgent Care is looking for a Medical Assistant to help support our company's commitment to providing the highest quality care for our patients. The ideal candidate will have an interest in helping people in need and a dedication to serving others. We're looking for assistance with administrative tasks and patient care, and the ability to effectively manage paperwork and schedule appointments is essential.

Qualifications:

*Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant Program.
*Occupational Medicine experience (preferred).
*Excellent customer service, public relations and communication skills
*Ability to work as an effective team member to provide exceptional care

-Responsibilities:

-Administrative duties such as scheduling patients, answering phones, maintaining patient charts.
-Performs basic lab tests and prepares specimens, administers medication and injections, performs blood draws, application of dressing.
-Assists medical provider during examinations and procedures. Maintain compliance with all state and federal regulations pertaining to professional certification, patient confidentiality pursuant to HIPAA, treatment and safety guidelines.
Comply with state and federal regulations pertaining to HIPPA, treatment, and professional certifications.
Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $20.00 - $27.00 per hour

Expected hours: 13 – 20 per week
