HCMA After Hours hosted by Pace of the Ozarks and Good Shepherd was the highlight of our thursday. Our Clinical Liasion Katherine and our Director of Business Development Sharon took a moment to snap a moment in our busy schedules. It is always a pleasure to join our community partners and support our neighbors and community partners.

Today we recognize and celebrate some of our amazing healthcare team members who care for our community - our doctors. Expert physician oversight is one of the most important qualities that sets inpatient rehab apart from other care settings. Each day you show incredible dedication to providing the highest quality care to our patients. Thank you for all you do today and every day. Happy Doctor's Day!

Providing care for someone you love with a brain injury can be a stressful and frustrating time. It is critical for caregivers to pay attention to their own personal needs in addition to the needs of the brain injury survivor.

Visit rogersrehabhospital.com/ to learn more about the resources and support we provide for our brain injury patients and their caregivers.

Every 23 seconds someone in the US experiences a brain injury. Inpatient rehabilitation is unique from other post-acute care settings in the intense amount of therapy provided to help patients overcome obstacles after a traumatic injury and get back to the life they love.

Inpatient rehabilitation looks at the whole person when developing a recovery plan and involves multiple medical team members, including physical medicine rehabilitation, physiatrists, rehabilitation nurses, social workers, case managers and physical, occupational and speech therapists. We use rigorous improvement measures to track patient outcomes. This helps ensure we provide evidence-based care best suited to assist each patient in making the greatest gains possible.

We are honored to be part of bringing our community resources together and having some fun with our Leprechaun friend. We were able to hear from Jacqueline Roberts- Director of Case Management at Mercy Hospital- NWA.
Jacqueline gave us great information on how they cultivate a customizable assessment and care plan for all of their patients! She was also able to discuss with us the large philanthropic imprint that Mercy Hospital NWA has accomplished throughout our community!
Jacqueline’s message was clear- we can’t do it without each other. Our community is a team and rallies together for the ones that we serve.
