This is after one BBL treatment, focused on post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation related to perioral dermatitis.

Perioral dermatitis can leave behind lingering discoloration even after the active rash is well controlled. This discoloration, known as post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation, can persist for months and often does not resolve on its own with skincare alone.

BBL can be used intentionally to target pigment left behind by inflammation, helping the skin clear more evenly once the barrier has stabilized. In this case, treatment was only performed after the dermatitis itself was under control, which is essential for safe and effective correction.

After a single session, early improvement in tone and clarity can be seen. Continued correction often occurs with additional treatments as part of a thoughtful plan that prioritizes skin barrier health and inflammation management.
