We know many of you are navigating recent changes with us, and we want to take a moment to offer reassurance, connection, and a warm reintroduction đź’›
While we recently shared the news of Phebe’s departure, we are so grateful to have Chantel continuing to lead and support care here at Eden as our supervising midwife.
Chantel has been walking alongside birthing families for nearly three decades, as a doula, perinatal nurse, and now as a Certified Nurse Midwife. Her heart has always centered on one goal, a healthy mom and a healthy baby. Just as importantly, she is deeply committed to creating a space where every client feels heard, supported, and empowered to make the choices that are right for their unique family.
Since joining Eden in April 2025, Chantel has been a steady, compassionate presence. She is passionate about healthcare autonomy and believes deeply in helping families lead their own care with confidence and support.
Her journey in healthcare is rich and diverse, earning her ADN in 2010 and BSN in 2014, followed by twelve years as a bedside nurse in both pediatric and perinatal settings. After transitioning from bedside care in 2022, she continued supporting families as a birth center nurse and PRN opioid treatment nurse. She completed her midwifery education through Frontier University, graduating in October 2024 with experience in both hospital and homebirth settings.
Outside of her professional life, Chantel is a wife of 34 years, a mom to four, and a proud grandma of two. She has called several states home before planting roots here in Arkansas, and she finds joy in crafting, gardening, crocheting, and spending time outdoors and with her church family.
We are so honored to have Chantel as part of Eden and even more grateful for the calm, experienced, and deeply compassionate care she brings to our community.
We’re here for you, and we’re continuing forward together 🤍
