Please Help Us Welcome Heather Elswick to our Rogers Clinic!

Heather is a Doctor of Physical Therapy and Board-Certified Orthopedic Specialist who specializes in helping athletes recover, perform, and stay in the game. As a former Division I gymnast at the University of Arkansas (2012–2017), Heather brings firsthand experience with the physical demands, injury patterns, and performance expectations of high-level sport.

Heather earned her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of North Texas Health Science Center in Fort Worth in 2021 and completed her Orthopedic Specialty Certification in 2023. She has advanced training in dry needling, concussion screening, vestibular rehabilitation, Level 1 orthopedic pelvic floor therapy, and Sportsmetrics. Heather is currently pursuing specialized training in the evaluation, treatment, and performance optimization of gymnasts, allowing her to deliver sport-specific, evidence-based care tailored to the unique demands of athletic movement.

Throughout her career, Heather has held numerous leadership roles, including leadership positions within collegiate gymnastics programs and serving as a clinic director over the last 3 years. These experiences have strengthened her ability to guide her patients through injury recovery, performance development, and long-term health with clarity, accountability, and confidence.

Originally from Austin, Texas, Heather now lives in Farmington with her husband, Brendon, and their two dogs, Ryker and Ellie. She is excited to meet new people, build meaningful relationships, and continue serving the community she now calls home. Outside the clinic, she maintains an active lifestyle through Pilates, pickleball and weightlifting, and enjoys supporting collegiate gymnastics. She also values quality time with family and friends.

Heather takes a performance-driven, individualized approach to care that goes beyond symptom relief. Her goal is to restore strength, mobility, and confidence while addressing underlying movement deficits to reduce future injury risk. Through education, intentional training, and progressive return-to-sport strategies, Heather empowers athletes to move efficiently, compete confidently, and perform at their highest level while actively working to make a positive impact within the broader community.

Jenn is a Doctor of Physical Therapy. She is certified in Functional Dry Needling and is a Level 1 Certified Running Gait Analyst. She graduated from PT school in 2018 from Missouri State University. Prior to joining Specialized Physical Therapy, she worked at an outpatient clinic for nearly 6 years that required her to predominately speak Spanish and as a result, has drastically improved her Spanish fluency.

Jenn calls NWA home with her husband and two daughters. She is active in her church and is excited to be working at SPT where she can actively live out her faith to better the lives of her patients. She is also an avid runner and is currently taking additional running certification courses to better serve and meet the needs of her patients.

She lives by the motos “If not you, then who?” and “To give anything less than your best, is to sacrifice the gift” expressing her commitment to finding solutions for her patients and her desire to always give her best.
