After 17+ years of caring for her patients and brightening every corner of our office, today marks Kimber’s last official day at Lifetime Dental.

We’ve shared her heartfelt goodbye letter and tributes from her fellow hygienists over the past few weeks and now we’re wrapping up with a few special moments from her last day with us. From the hugs and laughter to the beautiful cake made by our talented team member Brenda, it Is the perfect send-off for someone who has given so much to our team and patients.

Today we’re sharing a message from Joy, who has worked alongside Kimber for more than a decade. Her words perfectly capture the love, faith, and kindness Kimber has shared with everyone at Lifetime Dental — both her team and her patients.

“Kimber has been an absolute blessing to my life over the past 10+ years that we have worked together at Lifetime Dental. She is always a shining example of God’s love, and I’m so thankful for that. She has prayed with me and for me on more occasions than I can count (and she has prayed for you, her patients, as well). Kimber will be incredibly missed in our office, but I am so excited for her in her retirement and the time that she gets to spend with her kids and grandkids (and great-grands) and time spent on the farm! Today, we’re continuing the tributes to Kimber by sharing a heartfelt note from Toria. She has worked closely with Kimber and seen firsthand the impact she’s had on her patients and team.

“Kimber loves her patients and knows them each so well. Some of them have seen her since they were kids. As she started working fewer days, I started to see some of her patients that couldn’t get on her schedule. She knew exactly who they were and always took the time to tell me all about them. She knew which teeth were sensitive, which one’s didn’t like too much water, and which ones talked so much that you could barely clean their teeth! Her patients had become her friends, and they felt that from her. She told me once that she felt that she could finally retire because she knew the team of hygienists that we have at our office would take care of her patients that she had come to love so much. Kimber, we will miss you!”

October is National Dental Hygiene Month — the perfect time to celebrate the amazing hygienists who care for our patients every single day. This month feels extra meaningful as we prepare to say goodbye to our longtime hygienist, Kimber, who is retiring in just a couple of weeks.

While we’ll miss Kimber dearly, we also want to honor her by sharing tributes from the rest of our hygiene team. Their words highlight the impact Kimber has had on all of us — as a mentor, teammate, and friend.

Today we’re starting with a message from Savanna:

Kimber, congratulations on your well deserved retirement! From the very first day I started at Lifetime Dental, you made me feel so welcome, and your humor has kept us all laughing through the years. Your hard work, caring heart, and godly character shine through in everything you do. You’re such a strong and inspiring woman, and now it’s time to enjoy farm life and all the things that bring you joy. Wishing you many blessings and happiness in this next chapter, we will all miss you!

Our beloved hygienist, Kimber, is retiring this month! She's been such an important part of our dental family so we want to share the news with her patients and friends so everyone has the chance to celebrate her.

Below is a personal note Kimber wrote to all of you:

Dear friends,

As most of you know, I will be retiring on Wednesday, October 15th. I want to take this opportunity to sincerely thank each of you for your kindness and support over the past 17 years. Your friendship and prayers have carried me through many personal challenges, including my journey with breast cancer, kidney stones, and the loss of my sweet mom.

It has truly been an honor and a privilege to provide dental hygiene care to you and your family. The trust and loyalty you have shown has meant so much to me, and I am grateful for the opportunity to have been part of your lives. The relationships we've built and the memories we've shared will always hold a special place in my heart.

While I look forward to this new chapter, I leave with confidence knowing that you will be in excellent hands. We have an amazing Dental Hygiene team, and I am certain you will continue to receive the highest quality care. Additionally, the rest of our dedicated dental team remains available to assist you with all your dental needs.

It is my prayer that our Father God will richly bless each of you and your families as you continue to walk in His love and grow in His grace.
