Her professional experience spans inpatient behavioral health, oncology social work with an emphasis on acceptance and resilience, and community mental health, where she supported adults facing a wide range of challenges. She has also served as part of an interdisciplinary team assisting individuals in recovery from substance use disorders.
As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Laura works with clients navigating anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, substance use, grief, and major life transitions. She takes a strengths-based, person-centered approach that empowers individuals to uncover their inner resources and create meaningful change. By integrating practical coping strategies, mindfulness techniques, and evidence-based interventions, she supports clients in reducing distress and building emotional stability.
Laura is trained in Sand Tray Therapy, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), offering clients pathways to new perspectives and deeper self-awareness. Her therapeutic goal is to foster resilience, self-understanding, and a greater sense of fulfillment and joy in her clients’ lives.
Outside of her professional work, Laura enjoys spending time in nature, being with her dog, staying active, and traveling. She values her own self-care practices and feels honored to support others on their journey toward peace and well-being.
