🌦️ What an incredible day at PEARL’s 5th Annual Roberds Run for Your Life 5K & Walk to Remember!

We were a little worried about the weather this morning, but our event turned out great and right before the storm rolled in, a beautiful rainbow appeared over the course. 🌈 It felt like a powerful reminder of hope, healing, and the lives we honor through this event. 💜

We want to give a huge thank you to everyone who showed up to support PEARL’s mission today! Our sponsors, 5K participants, volunteers, staff, and our incredible recovery housing residents. Your energy and encouragement made this event such a success! 💪✨

While the weather held off for most of the day, it did move in just in time for our Walk to Remember, which we’ve now made virtual. 🌧️

Throughout the rest of October, we invite you to walk in remembrance of those we’ve lost to substance use disorder and overdose. Take a photo during your walk and tag us — we’d love to see and share how our community continues to walk together in hope and remembrance. 🕊️💜

🌦️ Weather Update for Saturday’s 5K – October 18

The current forecast shows a chance of severe thunderstorms during our scheduled race time.
Our event is rain or shine, which means we’ll still run if there’s light or moderate rain — that’s all part of the fun! ☔️

However, severe weather—such as lightning, high winds, hail, or tornado warnings—poses a safety risk.
If these conditions develop, the only option will be to shift the race to a virtual format.

We’re actively monitoring the forecast and will post any official updates right here on our social media pages. Your safety is our top priority, and we appreciate your understanding and flexibility!

From all of us at PEARL, today we’re celebrating our amazing Executive Director, Kyra! 💜

Kyra has poured her heart and soul into PEARL for the past four years, leading with dedication, compassion, empathy, and unwavering passion for our mission, residents, peers, and staff. 💪💫

Not only are we celebrating four amazing years at PEARL, but also five inspiring years in recovery (next week while she is out on vacation! We had to give her a front!)

Kyra is living proof that transformation, hope, and hard work can change lives and she shares that light with everyone around her!

And if there’s one thing we all know about Kyra… it’s that she’s a die-hard Arkansas Razorbacks fan! 🐗❤️
So today, the team surprised her with all things Razorbacks to show her just how much she’s loved and appreciated!

We’re so proud of Hunter, one of our Men’s House residents- he not only got a car, but also got his driver’s license back! 🙌

These milestones represent more than just transportation… they show the freedom, responsibility, and progress that come with recovery.
Way to go, Hunter! Your hard work and determination continue to inspire us all! 💪💙

Michael has worked so hard to get to this point, and we couldn’t be more proud of him! This is such a huge milestone and a true example of what dedication and perseverance in recovery can do. 💪
