Life-threatening illness inspires non-profit foundation....

Healing Hands of Mercy Massage Foundation (HHMMF) is a non-profit organization with 501(c)(3) status. Our mission is to provide free massage therapy through licensed massage therapists to those in need. It is our sincere desire that no one goes to bed in pain and all who receive these services are able to relax in order to help the body heal.

HHMMF was established as result of a goal Joey Huston Gall had when she was recovering from a life-threatening illness in May and June of 2008. After her experience in the hospital, she realized how many people have needs that may not be met with traditional treatment or covered by insurance. Massage therapy was one of the most beneficial experiences Joey had that helped her body relax and heal from a devastating flu virus which attacked her heart, and caused complete organ failure. After surviving this health crisis, Joey vowed to establish a foundation to help others in need.

The Foundation was founded in Fall of 2008, and has steadily grown over the past several years. We have a team of licensed massage therapists who service all of Northwest Arkansas, each matched with specific training for individuals needs. We provide free massage therapy to people who are ill, battling cancer, caregivers, and those who have been through traumatic life experiences. Massages can take place in a home, a studio, or in a facility (if approved).

In the summer of 2012, we formed a partnership with Circle of Life Hospice in Springdale, and expanded our serves to Legacy House in Bentonville a short time later. We offer free massage therapy to patients (with doctor’s approval), caregivers, and family members upon request. We have also partnered with Highlands Oncology in Rogers and Fayetteville, and currently pay for patients to receive specialized massage as needed. We have also expanded to Little Rock, AR; Moore, OK; area, and Kaysville, UT. Our goal is to expand and grow even more in the days ahead.
