Today, we wanna say how thankful we are for all of our nurses! Our LPNs and RNs help our facility thrive! They are constantly assessing our residents and noticing the little changes in them to get them medical attention as soon as possible or to help with comfort and pain management!

Our nurses have families and other obligations but come into work and treat our residents like their own family-with smiles on their faces, understanding in their voices, and kindness in their hearts!

We think that we’ve got a pretty great team! Thanks for all that you all do!!

We are thankful for our local agencies that assist with wheelchair and/or stretcher transportation! Sometimes stretchers are an only option or funds for wheelchair transport might be tight! Promise Home Care LLC now offers transportation services at a reasonable price ($60 round trip plus $1/mile is CRAZY cheap!) and Pafford and Good Shepherd Transportation offer wc and stretcher transportation!

Without you all, people would be confined to their homes and unable to see their primary care providers or specialists!

Thank you all, for all that you do!

We are thankful for our dietary staff! Our dietary team make sure all of our residents get the altered diets, altered textures, and adaptive equipment our residents need to eat as independently and safely as possible! Our dietary staff cook with love and serve with a smile. We couldn’t ask for better! Thank you guys for all that you do!

Today, and every day, we are thankful for our veterans! We appreciate the sacrifices you made for our wonderful country! The heart, sweat, and tears to get thru boot camp then the time lost with family, missing out on childrens first steps or first words…all to fight for a greater place! We see the sacrifices made and the hearts behind them and we thank you for your service!

Today, in honor of the veterans we have in-house, we did a special drawing for a quilt designed with a veteran in mind! Congratulations to Darlene, Air Force! You may have seen her dancing with our activities director earlier this year… if not, scroll through our old posts.. they’ve got some great moves!

Today, we are thankful for ! We are thankful for our activities director and all the time he puts into improving our residents’ quality of life! From baking cookies, to bingo, to gardening, they get to do a little bit of it all! Thank you Curtis for keeping the activities fun and entertaining!!!

Today, we are thankful for the Arkansas Health Care Association! From regulatory education opportunities to emergency preparedness programs, they help ensure that our facility and 90% of other licensed facilities in the state of Arkansas can be the best we can for our residents! They also host an annual conference and the Annual State Queen Pageant! We have been lucky enough to be asked to sponsor the district three pageant for the past several years and are grateful for the connections made and stories learned from our elders!

Today, we are thankful for the home health teams that we get to work with to ensure our rehabilitation patients are able to safely transition home and continue to make gains towards more independence!

Thank you to our liaisons for your help in making our residents transitions home seamless and following up so that we can have the peace of mind in knowing our patients will get the best care in a timely manner! Thank you to the nurses and therapists and behind the scenes folks as well that care for and help push people to be the best version of theirselves they can be!

We appreciate all that you do so that our folks are able to come back and see us to visit-not to stay! Our skilled nursing team’s goal is always to get people back to their prior level-or better! Home health companies often help people avoid regression after returning home and getting comfortable again! Thanks for all that you do!

Today, we are thankful for all of the volunteers and groups that come by to share their talents with us and our residents! There’s too many to tag you all but you know who you are! From volunteers to help paint our ladies nails, to music by Bill Skaggs and the different church choirs that come out, to the family members of our staff that help decorate, entertain, and pamper our residents-We appreciate you all!

The time you spend with our elders really does make a world of difference to them and we can’t express our gratitude enough! Thank you for all that you do!!!

We are a few days late in getting started, but we want to take the month of November to highlight people, necessities, and community partners that we are thankful for!

Today, we would like to share how thankful we are for the hospice agencies that work with us to provide the absolute best care possible for our residents in their last weeks and days of life. The holidays are especially hard when you’re missing loved ones but Circle of Life and Elite Hospice - Springdale both do a wonderful job of offering support to family in their time of need and continue their support for up to a full year after a loved ones’ passing! We are grateful to have the opportunity to collaborate with these agencies to help care for not only our residents, but their families too!

Thank you to the operational staff, nurses, and CNAs from both agencies that love and care for our residents! From the bottom of our hearts, we appreciate all that you do! ❤️

Everyone, meet Natia!
Natia, or Tia for short, is the transportation driver for Promenade! She has been with us for several years-first as a CNA and now as the first face many of our residents see! Natia is always willing to lend a hand and she brightens every room that she enters!

This week is transportation appreciation week and she doesn’t use social media, so if you see Natia around, tell her thanks for all that she does!!! From initial encounters to 3x/wk dialysis transports… from being a helping hand on the hall to being Maid of Honor, she does it all and does it with grace!

Screaming from the rooftops- WE LOVE YOU, NATIA! ❤️
