I have shared this information with those who I see regularly. This is for those I dont see as often.
Normally, I would be announcing the start of the holiday packages, however my announcement is a bittersweet one. I have already touched base personally with many of you, those who are on my schedule within the next two months, but also many of you I have not, and find announcing here in this group will be the most efficient. I have decided to go ahead and retire after a little more than 20 years of working in the Massage industry. It has been something that has been on my mind for the past year to do, but deciding when to make that final decision has been a struggle. This year has been especially rough on my body, and I have felt more significantly a decline in my hands, especially. I am wanting to continue to be able to do the things I enjoy, and especially with art which requires dexterity. I am repeating myself a little bit to those I have spoken to already, but my biggest struggle with setting a retirement date is the fact that I enjoy so much connecting with each of you and having such wonderful relationships, built into my work, investing in your care and health and friendships. And also knowing that change is so difficult, and finding a new therapist can be discouraging, which I can relate to personally so well. I wanted to give enough of a notice to allow For some to enjoy a few months before you have to find a new therapist. I Have set my retirement date for March 28th.
I have already disabled my online scheduling. I do not have very many openings due to the fact that most of my timeslots are already filled with recurring clients. But if you are interested in making an appointment, reach out to me, and there is a chance that I can get you on the schedule.
Also, as a result of my retirement, I will not be able to do my usual holiday package or Christmas giveaways. If anyone has any questions regarding any packages, you may currently have and are using or any gift certificates you may have please reach out to me and message me personally. And of course, any questions at all that you might have please reach out to me.
So while I am retiring from massage, I do have plans to open up a shop in conjunction with my husband, which would include a lot of the 3-D print creations my husband is making, my rock art, my stained glass, macramรฉ, and plants. This shop will be utilizing our empty storefront and will be called The Curiosity Shoppe. So while this is an end to our Massage relationship, I do not want this to be an end to our friendship! Thank you all for your business and your friendship๐
