Recovery Story Ministry

The Recovery Story Ministry is a community outreach for addiction recovery. Addiction comes in many forms; drugs, alcohol, food, money, people, etc.

A community outreach for those struggling with addiction and family and loves ones of those in addiction. Our goal is to show you there is freedom, there is a better way. You can recover. There is hope for your loved ones. We would love to show you the love of Jesus and that there is freedom in Jesus. We are ALL recovering from something. We want to walk alongside you, wherever you are in your rec

overy journey. We will meet weekly at Story Church at 6:30 p.m. Kids program available for up to 14 years old. All are welcome, you do not have to attend Story Church, or any church, to be welcome. We truly want you to come as you are.

Come gather with us tonight! We gather each week to do life together. To share the mountain tops and the valleys, because doing it together makes a world of difference. When you have people on your side encouraging you, praying for you, and loving you, it seems more manageable.

God designed us to do life together. We gather each Wednesday at 203 Jamestown Blvd. to do life together. We pray for each other, encourage each other, and point each other to Jesus. Gather with us tonight, even if you don't feel like it. We meet at 203 Jamestown Blvd., Rogersville every Wednesday.

Feeling down and don't feel like peopleing? Come anyway. Feel like everyone will look at you funny and judge you? Come anyway. Feel nervous cause it's out of your comfort zone? Come anyway. The list can go on. Whatever you're facing, whatever your life looks like, come anyway. God will show up and meet you right where you are and He has something for you. And... just because you come check us out once, doesn't mean you have to come back. You never know, though, you might just find what you didn't know you were looking for.

Join us tonight for our regular weekly gathering. We gather to love and encourage one another because let's face it, life is hard. We can still have joy while life is hard and having people is part of that joy. God is always working and having people that will stand beside you and pray for you and with you is one piece that brings joy even in the struggle.

What we fill our mind with is so important. What's inside comes out when we're under pressure. You can't fake that. We get caught up in our own mind and pride and control. I love the saying that God wants us to work like it depends on us and have faith like it depends on Him. You see, our work means nothing if we aren't doing it for Him. Seeking Him. Trusting Him. Then we are just relying on ourselves and it will always be second best to what God has for us. Even if what we are walking through is hard and painful, He is using it. It will not go to waste.

Come see us tonight and be with people who do not sugar coat life or what they are going through. People who want good things for you. We gather to be with people who lift us up and encourage us. We gather because God wants us to gather together and help one another. We will continue our study tonight "Why Does Jesus Matter" by J.D. Greear and learn about what Jesus said and did. Dinner is at 6pm, kids and adults start at 6:30pm. Everyone is welcome, no matter where you are in life, you are welcome to come as you are. How amazing is it that He chooses us even though He knows we have and will fall short!? Coming out of Resurrection Sunday it is amazing to reflect on the fact that He chose the cross for every single one of us, and He would do it if it was only 1 of us.

We think it's best to move Storyteller Night to next week. We want everyone to be safe and everyone that wants to come to be able to. We will not meet at all tonight. Storyteller Night will be next week, February 26th. Please update your RSVP.
