Mahalo Tennessee Homestead for featuring our homestead!🌺🤙🏾 Pu’uhonua O Kahawai- Valley of Refuge (our name for the property) has been a regenerative farm for the past 4 growing seasons. No till, chemical free, and perennial food forest planted throughout. Beautiful forest with 50+ year old timber, hiking trails, & seasonal creek, gives us Greenbelt tax status (have trees= pay much lower taxes in TN). If you have any questions just send me a DM.

🌺Aloha ‘Oe Rogersville!🤙🏾 It is with a heavy heart that I must announce our time in Hawkins County has come to an end. As navigators, my Ohana is continuing our journey on Moku Honu (Turtle Island) and moving further south. Another garden is planted, another tree provides fruit, another vine hugs the Earth. As Kahu (caretakers) of the land, we lovingly leave the soil microbiome a rich and thriving community and the landscape we leave it more edible and diverse than when we found it. To all the dear ones who have shown my family friendship & kindness, we are filled with gratitude for knowing you & we will MISS YOU! A hui hou, until we meet again. You are forever in our hearts and prayers.❤️

BELFIRE NEEDS YOUR HELP! Y'all know I wouldn't ask......2 things - TENT and MORTGAGE PAYMENT. Good morning - I hope y'all are all okay this morning. The storms in the early hours yesterday took their toll on a LOT of people. My destroyed canopy is very, very minor when I see all of the tornado damage in KY and MO. My heart and prayers go out to all of those folks. That said, the event on Friday and Saturday is usually one of my best every year and I did well on Friday, but yesterday's sales were not there. Add to that the loss of my tent 😭 I have a temporary one that is good for the backyard but won't stand up to my every weekend events and doesn't have any walls with it either. I need to replace the tent ASAP. AND even more importantly, I need to make my MORTGAGE payment this week. I am on a plan with my mtg company trying to keep my house. It's not an option to miss this one or ask if I can be even later paying it. Needless to say, without my house Belfire will cease to exist. The past 3 years since Rod died have been a struggle. I've asked for help a few times with small things. Asking for help is hard for me. I know times are financially tough for everyone. Right now I really need your help. Thank you, Susan.

💫🌱Willow & Elderberry plant cuttings for sale! $10 a pot. We even have Corkscrew Willow available. Supply is limited, so DM me for more information. Local pickup only!

1. First we make cuttings, dip the ends in honey, & place them in a planting bed. We do this while the weather is still cold during early spring.

2. Once they start to root, we pot the plants & put them under grow lights.

3. Then we offer them for sale or transplant them into our to use as etc.

🌟🐾We have 4 super smart Shepsky pups (that can be used as herding/service/therapy dogs) & 10 super chill Livestock pups (Anatolian Mix).

🌟🐾They’re the sweetest little darlings who need to find a good home and a good job!

🐾Haupia the only girl is already spoken for! These pups are SMART & trainable. Mom (Kahu) is a FULL Black German Shepherd & Dad (Alika) is 1/2 Blue Heeler 1/2 Siberian Husky. All puppies are being raised on a WORKING farm with a variety of Birds- chickens, ducks, turkeys, Livestock- goats, sheep, cow, & raised with rabbits, cats & other herding dogs & livestock dogs. Dogs are also raised around children.

🐾Mom is from a service dog line of GSD & is a working herding dog who specializes in herding birds & can also help as backup with herding livestock. Mom stays on the property & doesn’t roam.

🐾Dad is a beautiful singer to harmonica, does lots of tricks & knows many commands. Dad was raised in the city, LOVES cats & is available for adoption. He is an older 6 year old dog who has a small appetite, is lovable, & keeps himself clean.

🐾Pups are currently 5 weeks old & their personalities are starting to shine!☀️These pups have beautiful blue/grey eye color & one pup has one brown eye and one blue eye like his daddy who has a special Heterochromia eye color trait.

🐾We have 4 boys & 1 girl ready at 6-8 weeks old. Reserve your puppy now & we will hold the puppy until ready. Get 2 pups & they will be easier to train & already have a built in furry friendship. We are accepting $50 donations for puppy food, but no pressure.

✨🐾Mama is a hardworking Livestock Guardian Dog (1/2 Great Pyrenees, 1/4 Anatolian Shepherd, 1/4 Akbash). Dad is a neighborhood LGD & probably an Anatolian Shepherd/Kangal Mix.
🐾These pups are Gentle Giants & are handled daily by children. They have good traits like their mama.
🐾Mama’s name is Koa & she protects our farm from Stray Dogs, Coyotes, Foxes, Bobcats, Raccoons, Opossums, predator Birds, Humans, & more.
🐾Mama is currently working on 20 acres of mostly wooded land & some pasture.
