Bladder Buddy Brew
I consider this safe for any woman of any age dealing with chronic cystitis — even women who are pregnant, lactating, or using chemotherapy or other heavy drugs that suppress the immune system (and make cystitis more likely), so long as the dose is not exceeded.

½ ounce/14g yarrow flowering herb (Achillea millefolium)
½ ounce/14g marshmallow root (Althea officinalis)
½ ounce/14g uva ursi leaves (Arctostaphylos uva-ursi )
½ ounce/14g echinacea root (Ech. angustifolia ONLY)

Soak the dried herbs in two quarts/liters of cold water overnight.
Bring water and herbs to a boil, remove from heat, cover, and steep for four or more hours.
Drink by the sip, about a cup an hour until symptoms abate.
Continue drinking 2–4 cups a day for at least a week.
For prevention, drink 1–2 quarts a week.

🔱The Destroyer of Darkness and Ignorance🔱
ॐ देवी कालरात्र्यै नमः॥
Om Devi Kalaratryai Namah॥
Devī Kālarātri represents the dark night whose lightning shakti cuts through all our veils of darkness, ignorance, difficulties and obstacles. Yet Devi in her ghora rupa is the most auspicious form, as she bestows her divine blessings and protection as Goddess Shubhankari. She is Kālī who holds the Abhaya and Varada mudra, carrying the Khadga the sword and the iron hook or noose, the guiding force which moves us through the dark night to envision the light of dawn.

The transformational power of the feminine is unveiled through invoking Maa Kālī with love and devotion.
🌹“prakṛtistvaṃca sarvasya guṇatraya vibhāvinī
kāḷarātrirmahārātrirmoharātriśca dāruṇā”🌹
You are the Prakriti of the entire universe, made of the three gunas, all-pervasive
You are at the night of eternal time, the vast night of space, and the terrible night of delusion........

🪔Maa Kālī represents this process of purification, gently preparing us to accept the grace of Soma, the golden nectar which is Sundari Devi, who represents awakening and illumination. Soma is a purifier ...when Indra drinks the Soma he has the power to destroy the Asura. When the lay person plays with all the worldly soma it can turn into poison for them. To drink the soma you have to be purified by Agni otherwise the soma will destroy one through its illusory and delusional nature. Shiva turns the poison into nectar because He represents immortality.

🪔 Kālī’s dark and fierce form is certainly intimidating and hard to fathom, unless one is willing to look with discernment behind the veil of sensational images about her. If you get what you want you have to lose it .....we chase the Lakshmi energy but eventually She transforms into Kālī. Where as when we work with the Kālī energy She eventually grants you the grace of Lakshmi but with the deeper wisdom to maneuver the maya.

🌹We worship Devi on this night with rituals, mantra, prayer and sacred offerings. Only when we find our comfort level in the darkest hour and revere its sattva guna can we move into deep thought, observation and inquiry (vichara). Kālī as the Goddess of time lures us into inquiry (vichara) which must be guided by jnana or wisdom and not mere ta***ic rituals for self gratification.
To realize the dawn of enlightenment, we must pass through the dark night of sacrifice and the dissolution of the ego.

Bhayānakam means horror and terror. The presiding deity
Sri Kālarātri is the Devi who lifts the veils of the Rasa Bhayānakam (भयानकं) and the corresponding colour is shadows of black. The latent emotion that evokes this Rasa, the Sthayi Bhava is Bhaya (terror).This Rasa relates to doubt, worry, insecurity. The Shastras urge us to go through our fears. When we live our lives in fear, we shut down completely. And the only way to overcome them is to face them.

🙏🏼As a sadhaka i experienced the flow of grace to understand the relative powers of Kala or time expressed by both Maa Kālī and Shanideva. In my book ‘Yogic Secrets of the Dark Goddess’, i share my thoughts as Kālī and Shani as Kala, the power of time. Both work as the ‘Inner Guru’ to guide us to our deepest vichara shakti.

🪐As the Lord of time, Shanideva, Saturn guides us into the undying world of eternity. Shani is the much feared karmic planet Saturn. Yet Shanideva is a great friend to yogis and devotees who are willing to let go of the outer world and its manipulations and attachments.

🪐🙏🏼Invoking Shanideva we can overcome afflictions born of the planets. Shanideva is the Inner Guru offering every sadhaka experiential jnana or knowledge making sure we learn life’s lessons at its deepest level.
As the Lord of time, Shanideva, Lord Saturn guides us into the undying world of eternity.
⏳Shanideva and Maa Kālī are the vanquishers of Time, manifesting as the true Self of time, Kalatma. They reveal the true essence of time and its source of subsistence, as the immeasurable measurer, decree of time, the quintessence and bliss of every point in time.

Yet, Maa Kālī has a crucial social relevance today. Kālī as the transforming power of time can usher us into a new era of global peace and understanding, if we can accept her demand for a ‘real change of consciousness’. Kālī asks us to live for eternity, not merely for fleeting enjoyments, sensual indulgences, using the Vedic knowledge for paying our bills or mere outer material gains.
