I am a mental health therapist (LMFT) who works with children, teens, and adults who are struggling with anxiety, OCD, depression, and issues related to trauma. I am passionate about empowering people to make change, and having real and honest conversations about mental wellness. I believe that therapy shouldn’t be a mystery, and it isn’t just for those who are “broken.” Research shows that CBT is the most effective form of therapy when it comes to treating anxiety and depression. While research is important and powerful, I BELIEVE in CBT because I have witnessed how powerful and courageous humans can be when they learn to speak to themselves in ways that are honest, balanced, and helpful. Whether you are struggling with anxiety, depression, or navigating a life transition you have the power to change. It takes work, it take courage, it takes willingness to risk, and it takes some grit. I am so moved by people’s resilience and strength, and when people learn to own the “stuff” that is keeping them stuck, they become empowered and THAT is when they can start to live the meaningful lives they were always meant to live.
I am a mom of three amazing children, a wife, a daughter, and a sister. I feel honored to do this work, and hope to make a difference in people’s lives.
