We help with not only the services we offer, but we also help with Advocacy, Independent Living skills, Information and Referral, Peer Support, and Transition! That's right.

Did you know that we have an equipment loan program? All those things that keep you in your home safely? We do! We loan out walkers, wheelchairs, raised toilet seats, shower chairs, etc. We also take used ones to recycle. As long as they are still "usable" we can recycle them. So, bring those left over equipment and we will pass them on! We help you stay independent in your own home. Thanks.

Hope you can come and support us. All proceeds will be going to help people with Walkers, wheelchairs, bedside commodes, etc. WHATEVER it takes to keep you in your home, safely!!

Our Story

Tri-County Center for Independent Living was founded in 1997. We are your local Hometown provider for In-Home care. We provide In-Home and CDS (Consumer Directed) Services. There is NO COST to you if you have Medicaid. We also offer Private Pay Services and a VA Program for In-Home Services. TCIL is a not-for-profit organization designed to assist people with disabilities, to achieve and maintain as much independence as they wish, in the setting of their choice, so they can lead a more independent life.

Some of the duties that in-home aides/attendants can provide include: Light housekeeping, personal care, dressing and grooming, bathing assistance, laundry, meal prep, shopping and errands, dusting, wash dishes, clean bath, clean floors and mobility transfer.

We serve Phelps, Pulaski, Laclede and surrounding counties.

TCIL is also a Resource Center! We would love to help you with any questions you may have. We look forward to hearing from you!
