What is it that allows us to move from anger to peace? Grief to numbness? Bored to fulfilled? Sometimes it’s a matter if remembering. But more often, when we pay attn to the inner terrain without jumping into that storyline, a shift happens and we can feel what isn’t right with curiosity. “ my heart is racing and I feel my arms bracing, this feels like panic”. Next step: I’m going to do some diaphragm breathing to release the tension and see what happens. Or: the thoughts accompanying these body sensations are old and not mine. They may be protective but not helpful now. What is the truth of the moment? How is the narrative that voice that hurts you, giving you the support you need? If it isn’t, then working to find what does is the heart work. Everytime I take a walk, I find these hearts in Mother Nature as a reminder that when you feel isolated and defeated, love is there in unexpected ways. We need only to open our minds, hearts,and eyes to the possibilities. 💚🪷
