Mr. Easton Kenneth Martin

Mr. Easton Kenneth Martin, age 19, of Adairsville, Georgia, passed away tragically due to an accident and went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, September 28th, 2025,

Easton was born in Cartersville, Georgia, on May 12, 2006, to Kristin Michelle Banks Holcomb and Devin Scott Martin. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Reverend Don Holcomb and his great grandfather, Harold Banks.

Easton had a heart for God and loved sharing his faith and love of the Lord with others above all else. He was a true outdoorsman, and that's exactly where he felt happiest. An avid fisherman, Easton could be found grinning from ear to ear as he and his family ran the river on their pontoon boat. When he wasn't on the water, he enjoyed riding motorcycles and spent hours tinkering with his motors. Using his hands was his specialty, and he was highly skilled in many trades. His craftmanship and attention helped him become a master carpenter, a talent that truly stood out.

Though Easton's life was short, he lived it to the fullest. He shared his voice and love of music through singing and enjoyed bodybuilding in his spare time. He was a loyal friend, and the funniest member of his family. Easton loved nothing more than making his siblings laugh - it's said he wasn't just funny; he was down right hysterical at times! He will be remembered as kind, good hearted, and loving by everyone fortunate enough to know him. Above all, Easton was his Momma's first baby and her "heart fix" forever. He will be greatly missed and thought of every day by his family and friends.

Survivors include his loving mother and stepfather, Kristin and Eli Holcomb; his father, Devin Martin; four brothers, Ryan, Re*****on, Braxtyn, and Andrew; one sister, Emilynn; his partner in life, Paris Lamb, and her father, Joshua Lamb; grandparents, Kim and Wes Ferguson, Amy and Steve Banks, Margie Holcomb, Scott Martin, and Carla Miller; great-grandparents, Gerald and Judy Simpson, Patricia and Donnie James, Margaret and Kenneth Miller, Cherry Huck, Larry Johnson, and Nell Worsham; one great-great-grandmother, Betty Kight; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family and a host of friends.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, October 4, 2025, at 2 PM at Mount Calvary Freewill Church, with Rev. Eli Holcomb, Rev. Willard Hall, and Rev. Donald Edwards officiating. Interment will follow in Eastview Cemetery in Adairsville. Gentlemen serving as pallbearers will include Brandt Dodd, Mason Helton, Lucas Vannell, Ryan Martin, Re*****on Holcomb, and Braxtyn Holcomb.

The family will receive friends on Friday, October 3, 2025, from 5 PM until 8 PM at Mt. Calvary Freewill Church. Easton will lie in state on Saturday from 11 AM until 1 PM at the church.

The family kindly requests that donations be made to the funeral home to assist with final expenses.

He was steadfast in his faith and a devoted servant. He was a proud servant and member of the Church of Living God in Rome, Georgia. Reverend Abercrombie was married to his beautiful wife for 31 years, who also joined him in his love of singing. It is well known the love he had for his family and the times they shared together making memories were moments he cherished. He will be sadly missed every day, but those who knew and loved him are rejoicing for him now.

Interment will follow in Pleasant Gap Baptist Church, 656 Pleasant Gap Road, Ellijay, Georgia, 30540. Those serving as pallbearers include Chris Abercrombie, Joshua Johnson, Joseph Johnson, Parker Collins, Bailey Metcalf, Joey Bradford, and Justin Dickerson.

The family will receive friends on Friday, September 26th, 2025, from 5PM until 8PM at the funeral home.

Mr. Ramon Martinez

Mr. Martinez was born in Villa Juarez SLP, Mexico on September 18th, 1941, a son of the late Juan Martinez Corona and the late Elisa Reyes Varocio. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by several siblings. Mr. Martinez was a dedicated provider to his family, and spent his career in the construction business. He was tough, yet gentle and “if he was one word, the word that defined him was humble”. He was grateful for every aspect of life and was always considerate and compassionate towards others. He enjoyed his friends, and was a good friend to those lucky enough to know him. His best times though were spent making memories with his family. In his younger years, he played baseball and loved to share his wildest stories with his family, always causing them to laugh. Later in life, he enjoyed the Rome Braves, the Atlanta Braves, working crossword puzzles, spending time with his wife in their garden, playing soccer, and loved watching Friday night boxing. Above all, his faith was most important- his heart was kind and generous, his love for helping others was evident by his devotion to his church and serving God. You would often find him reading his Bible or some of his favorite Christian books. He was known by his family as a great leader and led by example. He had a beautiful smile that when he smiled little rays of sunshine just poured out. It was his smile that first made his loving wife notice him. After meeting at church, they shared a wonderful life together. He spent 64 years with his loving sweetheart, Esperanza. Together they built their marriage of 59 years on love and continued their faith. Mr. Martinez was a devoted parishioner of St. Mary’s Catholic Church.
