Miss. Brianne Renee Morgan

Miss Brianne Renee Morgan, age 25, of Trion, Georgia, passed away on Friday, February 27, 2026, at Advent Redmond Hospital.

Miss Morgan was born in Quincy, Illinois, on September 14, 2000, to the late Richard Anthony Morgan and Sarah Elizabeth Lucas Morgan. Along with her father, she is also preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Richard and Kathleen Morgan.

Brianne's time here on Earth was far too short, but what an impact she made while here. She was born in Quincy, Illinois, but Northeast Missouri was where she grew up. It was here that she flourished into the vibrant young lady who could steal your heart with her infectious smile. Brianne had a heart filled with kindness and full of warmth. It is widely known by everyone who knew her that she had the BEST demeanor and never spoke poorly of anyone. Brianne accomplished a lot in her short life, earning her Bachelor's degree in English from Culver - Stockton College and she was fluent in multiple languages. She was inquisitive and smart, she enjoyed reading, writing stories and was great at researching anything that intrigued her! She loved many things but absolutely adored her nieces, who affectionately called her "Aunt B". Her hobbies included growing herbs, receiving her herbalist certification 3 weeks before her passing, and advocating for cat rescue, which she had a heart for because of the feline companions she loved throughout her lifetime. Brianne's favorite holiday was Christmas - the music, the lights, the trees, it all made for the magical feel of the spirit that she loved so much. She was many things, but bravery was what most comes to mind. She bravely fought the battle against breast cancer as a young lady and she did it with love and poise. Brianne said that her journey of cancer let her meet so many amazing people along the way that she would never forget, but little did she know.. it was Brianne that those people would never forget. She was an amazing person who leaves behind beautiful memories for all those who were lucky enough to cross her path.

She is survived by her devoted mother, Sarah Morgan; loving sister, Alexandra Morgan (Dominic Giordano); maternal grandparents, Jerry and Sandee Lucas; twin nieces, Adalee and Everleigh; cat, Onyx; aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family, and many friends.

The family would like to extend recognition and a heartfelt thank you to Advent Redmond Paramedics and EMS, Advent Redmond Hospital staff and clergy, Tapestry Hospice - especially Janice Bagley RN, who all so graciously and wonderfully cared for and helped Brianne thru her final battle.

In accordance with her wishes, Miss Morgan was cremated and no further services are planned.

Mrs. Smith was a person who had a a big heart. She would give everything she had to someone else if she thought it would help them. Her love knew no boundaries and whether it be spending time with her only sister, playing with her grandchildren, having deep conversations with her daughter, or being the life of the party, she gave 100%. In her downtime, she could be found sitting outside enjoying nature, walking in the parks, or visiting the aquarium. Her hobbies included listening to R&B - Mary J. Blige was her go to, watching comedy shows and Discovery Channel and she loved football - the Pittsburgh Steelers was her favorite team!
