Riverwood was delighted to welcome the Floyd-Rome Retired Educators Association for an Open House Luncheon! We enjoyed sharing our community and the services we provide with such a wonderful group. They’re a valued resource in our area, and we were truly honored to host them.

We are truly grateful for Floyd Springs Baptist Church! Their faithful visits to our community to sing and share fellowship mean so much to us. As a small token of our appreciation, we were glad to host a luncheon in honor of all they do for our community.

Our latest What's Cookin' Wednesday theme was a day at the carnival, and what a wonderful day it was! The smell of popcorn, corn dogs, fries, and funnel cakes made our mouths water and brought back fun memories for our residents. Hearing their favorite carnival stories and eating some carnival favorites was an absolute treat! What are some of your favorite carnival foods?

Riverwood Memory Care has been busy!! We went to the beach for Christmas in July Family Day! Then we had Tasha Vaughn from Trinity Hospice and volunteer Sherry Lyle for Whats Cooking Wednesday, The Fancy Chocolate Milk was a hit!!

What’s Cooking Wednesday at Riverwood? Our theme was Farm to Table! Our residents enjoyed a delightful fresh lunch. Cook’s Petting Zoo visited us with all their favorite animals. Our residents loved on all the animals. We had such a great day!
