Good morning everyone! This has been quite the season(it isn’t over but I wanted to take a moment)
We have been out well over 50x in your driveways this season. This is a huge increase in our “perceived” normal.
Anyways we performed our work without question. There have been a couple hiccups along the way. Some of you may not know about them at all. And only a small handful even know anything happened. And that’s ok.
One issue that came out this season is our routing software was “glitching” as it seemed we had people that were on the route, but then were missing.
At the end of the day I would realize it and get them taken care of. But it was an issue none the less.
We had some major sustained storms this season, and that did cause major hours to be put in by my self and others in very condensed timeframes. I worked my best through all the events to try and keep people moving with the “things in their lives” that they still needed to get to IE… Funerals, and hospital/cancer treatments and such. I wholly understand the importance of these things.
There were times when I was trying to jump to someone to make sure they could get to out for their personal needs. Sometimes this lead to me not getting right back to those people I jumped. This isn’t acceptable to me.
I have invested heavily into new routing software. This software is going to scale with our services. Additionally it will simplify our work by helping us better visualize our works completion, while also providing an audit trail.
While we implement this software there will be small hiccups and learning curves. But it will all be for the better.
From the looks of it we will have an enormous next season as we grew this season by almost 30-35% in new customer aquisitions.
We have seen many disasters and snow emergencies out there in driveways, but at the end of the storms Our customers didn’t experience it. They may have had some snow here and there. What is important is emergency services were always able to make simple entry to our customers.
We bring a major value to the customer by focusing on keeping your driveway accessible. We look to the future and how we are better able to position ourselves to do an even better job.
That said, if you are on the fence about our services, you will want to make up your mind soon. The snow will come back around next season. This much we know. We have to build our ship to carry you through the storm, it takes time to do it well and right.
