Residents enjoyed a wonderful time of fellowship with lots of laughs at our lunch outing to The Border today! We celebrated several November birthdays while there with singing and a festive sombrero!

Today, we marked Veterans Day with a full day of festivities, beginning with the downtown Veterans parade and concluding with a special celebration for our veterans and spouses at Renaissance Marquis. We would like to express our heartfelt thanks to each of you for your devoted service to our nation. We also thank KiKi from Agape Hospice for her generosity in gifting our veterans and contributing to today's commemoration. 🇺🇸

Today, we had a gobbling good time crafting these door hangers! The outcome is a heartwarming reminder that collaboration and friendship can lead to something truly special. By creating these charming turkeys, we've designed a symbol of the happiness that comes from sharing experiences and making memories together.

Creativity flowed for our no-carve pumpkin contests! Our winners are Lee Burno in our PC/IL resident category, Inez Lucas in our Harbor resident category, & Skylan Cole in our employee category- Congratulations to them all! Thank you to our judges, Andrea Jude with Blue Summit Hospice & Corey Stephens with Amedysis Home Health, who shared they had very difficult decisions there were so many great entries!

Costume contests added to our fun & brought lots of laughs! Thank you to each that participated. In the resident contest, 1st place went to the taco, Carl Honecker; 2nd place went to the pastry chef, Melba Didrick; & 3rd place went to the bass rancher, Ron Wright. For the staff contest, 1st place went to the Wicked Witch of the West, Wendy Johnson; 2nd place went to Henrietta Hippo, Tammy Campbell; & 3rd place went to Don Junior, Britni Bagwell.

Halloween wouldn’t have been complete without a performance by the Dixie Stompers! A big thanks to these ladies! The birthday girl, Shirley Holder, took part in one of the dances which is why she’s 90 years young!!
