Yesterday I was at a local eatery here in Rome. I had on an AMTA shirt and my scrubs. Two ladies a little older than me asked about my shirt and I explained it was the American Massge Therapy Association. They then asked me did I do that Neuro massage, I smiled and said yes I do, I have a degree in the modality. I was then asked if I do the same kind of work that President Kennedy’s therapist did…I told them I did not know. They explained it was someone famous as his therapist. Gave them a business card and we said goodbye. Once I got to my office I asked Google who the therapist was….Janet Travell! An associate asked me if I knew of her work lol. Yes I was very familiar and had taken several classes combining trigger point and NMT work. I love what I do, sharing information with others.
