Our Story

In August 2018, the Henderson family proudly closed on our newest addition to the Henderson & Sons family of funeral homes. After many years of praying and negotiating, God opened the door for us to acquire the funeral business that had previously been called Miller and Richards. We are excited to finally offer local ownership and stability to a funeral home that has changed hands several times since its inception. We are grateful for the opportunity to offer our compassionate and trusted service at a convenient location for our families in West Rome and East Alabama. Not only is the funeral home conveniently located directly across from Oaknoll Memorial Gardens, but it gives our families the option to receive the best funeral service in Northwest Georgia from any of three spacious and modern facilities throughout Rome. If you have not experienced the Henderson difference, ask a friend or family member, there’s a good chance they will direct you to Rome’s most trusted name in funeral service.
