I have been practicing Reiki for a number of years and recently obtained my certification as a Reiki Master. I truly believe that with the right combination of holistic methods, you can heal yourself and make your life better. I have also worked with essential oils and used them for my pets, myself and my family for the past 20 years or so. I wanted to be able to share the healing properties of these oils with others, so I decided to pursue a certification in holistic aromatherapy from the Kingdom College of Natural Health. In 2018, I obtained my RYT200 level certification as a Yoga instructor. I have had a personal yoga practice since 2000, first being exposed to it while I spent time in New Hampshire. I worked with an Austrian who was a yoga instructor at the time, and we would go out early in the morning for a yoga practice outside. My belief is you must have balance within the mind-body-spirit in order to be healthy and ,one with the self. In addition to these things, I became a certified Natural Health Consultant. In my own experiences, I have utilized Homeopathy, Herbalism, Nutrition, Aromatherapy, Reiki, Yoga, Meditation, Art Therapy and Journaling to improve and bring balance to my life. I want to share this information with others. Just a few years ago, I was overweight, had high blood pressure, borderline diabetic, high cholesterol, asthma, was extremely stressed, and just an overall messâŚall because I had gotten away from my true beliefs of natural health and feeding the body, mind, and spirit. After taking a good hard look at myself in the mirror, and realizing that I did not want to be on pharmaceutical medications to cover the root cause of the âdisâease, I made major changes that started with lifestyle changes. I began a nutritional quest for the ârightâ foods that fed my body, began to seriously exercise and started a regular yoga program, instead of the sporadic routine I had developed. I brought herbs, homeopathic remedies, reiki, shamanism, and meditation into my lifestyle and made the changes I needed. Today, I am no longer on any medications, have lost weight and toned my body, and overall feel more in balance than ever.
